One of the character types is the 'Who Needs Armor Anyway?' !
I, nor anyone else in the universe, haven't heard of that archetype.
The article is a good idea but needs more time spent on it.
If you want the game pay the price. I doubt there are many people who are desperate for the game but will refuse to buy it because it is £10 more than they were hoping for.
Silly article written to stir up a reaction. Real journalism reports news and doesn't try to create it.
I like seeing previews, but when a game is over a month from release I feel it is uncompetitive for a big media website to show so much of the game.
Pachter is the guy who predicted PS4 failure and Next Xbox dominating the market!
A well explained article on what is an open platform and if Windows 10 is one.
A new video-focused channel supported by Kickstarter or Patreon?
I'm happy to watch whatever Kyle Bosman does next.
Pachter said "I don’t think Lionhead did a very good job of creating profitable franchises."
It wasn't Lionhead that decided to make the Kinect-only game Fable Legends.
@Channel-Live This is not an opinion piece written to flame bait, it is a straightforward reporting of sales figures by an established website.
@Sparta07. To clarify... of course there hasn't been an official reveal. But at the Windows/Xbox Spring event and on the podcast with Major Nelson last week, he pretty much gave the game away about a spec-bump model. Nothing definite - but it's coming. Let's talk straight after Microsoft's E3 conference!
Now that Phil Spencer has revealed an Xbox One Plus is coming I think many potential XBO buyers will hold off making a purchase until E3 in June to see if that Is when it's revealed.
I imagine anybody buying the current model will be disappointed if days later a spec-bump version is released. I definitely want to get one but will wait for the newer model.
Whilst Adam Oth's 'deal with it' tweet lacked sensitivity, Microsoft made him a scapegoat for their own DRM policies.
Yes he had being cavalier, but he was just supporting his employer. To appease the public outrage the then studio chief Phil Spencer, under Don Mattrick's watch, fired him. However Microsoft still kept the policy! It wasn't until just after E3 when the backlash got too much that always-on was killed off.
The whole grubby i...
That's a bit unprofessional for a competitor's ex-staff to criticise the game on a public platform. Keep it classy.
When Phil Spencer says that Xbox 'isn't going anywhere' notice he is talking about the software development division and not the hardware platform!
What an absolute cluster truck.
Just two days ago I received an email from Lionhead that said "Fable Legends - A new reason to play every day." Now the game is being cancelled and the studio is likely for the chop. The development of this game has been an utter mess. Switching it to 'free' with microtransactions and always online didn't help. But what baffles me is how did development get so far, just weeks before final release, only for it to be cancel...
This problem comes from over-eager websites fishing for hits by passing judgement on a game that is still in development.
This is wrong, a preview should just share first impressions, talk about the positives, possible negatives, but don't review an unfinished game. I hope all the guilty websites learn from this!
If these are rumours 'were not supposed to know' why are you telling us?!
Hide screenshot, a small but much needed feature!
So many times you take a couple of screenshots and the second pic always captures the icon from when you took the first pic.
Spencer denies those rumours of an upgradable Xbox One. But all but confirms an XBO with a spec bump.
My guess is that XBO Plus will be revealed at E3 and will be compatible with the Oculus Rift.
Judging the reaction of the gaming press and gamer public to the Windows & Xbox event news & Phil Spencer's views I would say the response has been mixed.
This Rocket League 'invitation' makes it look like they are magnanimous, however it was Microsoft that has been preventing cross-platform play for years. For God's sake they wouldn't even allow cross-platform play between Xbox and their own Windows platform! However this is a good move.
There is hope that MS will allow this with other games, however before you get ahead of ourselves and wish for cross-platform Call of Duty, Microsoft won't allow it. The re...
